We love hiking and exploring new trails and I am passionate about obedience both on the trail and in public around distractions. I love a confident dog who is happy to take on any challenge and is comfortable in all situations. Utah has so many different places to experience and I have loved taking my dogs from the Slat Flats to Red Rock trails and all the mountains in between. I am a passionate learner and I love spending time testing out new training techniques and learning as much as I can to make people’s relationships with their dogs better. I believe a biologically fulfilled dog is a good dog whether that be through hiking which allows for physical exercise along with the mental stimulation of exploring new scents, or herding trials for your border collie I think it is important to find what it is that you and your dog are passionate about. Utah also has access to so many dog sports and between my two we have taken advantages of trying many and competing in some including Scentwork, GRC, Weightpull, Dock Diving, PSA, & Coursing. Dog sports are a passion of mine and something I encourage clients to dive into. Akseli is my right hand, he works alongside clients for them to learn handling and as an excellent distraction dog. He loves hiking and anything that means being outside. Akseli’s is my try everything dog, he is always so willing to give it a shot and is so easy to handle through new scenarios or distractions.
